As CEO and developer of the $80M Seaview Business Park overlooking La Jolla’s UCSD, Mr. DeFoe negotiated one of the largest high-tech leases in Southern California with General Dynamics’ Space & Defense Division. As President and CEO of Lenders Mutual Service Company, Mr. DeFoe developed internet marketing of loan services. As lead investor and Board member of Action Software, Mr. DeFoe negotiated the sale of the company to American Airlines. As Vice President of NYSE Arcata National’s Business Communications Division, Mr. DeFoe directed new telecommunication markets from San Francisco to the Northeast from his New York headquarters. As Pacific Telephone’s Employment Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. DeFoe directed the major overhaul of AT&T’s non-discriminatory policies. Mr. DeFoe’s reputation for trust; strict ethics & integrity; ability to focus on the tough details; hands-on dealmaker, and a strong legal background have enabled investors to become personal friends.
