Donna Altounian
joined Ramsey-Shilling Co in 1975, when she became an office building
specialist in the Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena markets. Her activities
included the leasing of office space, landlord representation and
land assemblage for office projects. Her many projects in the area
include Glendales major redevelopment project the Exchange,
Hanna Barbara/Taft Entertainment Studio City headquarters, and Operating
Engineers Headquarters in Pasadena. Her ability to identify the
tenant base in her marketplace earned her the reputation as a developers
broker. Her client list includes, The Producer and Writers Guild,
Viacom International, The Walt Disney Co., Rich Entertainment, WQED
West, International Studio Technicians Guilds, The Directors
Guild, Tenet Healthcare, Maxicare International, Med Partners, Silverado
Health Care and California Primary Physicians.
In l982, she
became the Managing Partner, responsible for the directing of the
sales force and the strategic planning for the firm, at that time
she became aware of the rapid growth of medical managed care groups.
She then moved to create the Health Care Consulting Group and Senior
Care properties within the Ramsey-Shilling Company. In 1990, she
and Paul Ramsey became Co-Chairpersons of the Board of Directors.
Her duties include the marketing of the firm as well as client representation.
Mrs. Altounian
is an active participant in civic organizations and recently lobbied
in Washington D.C. on behalf of the San Fernando Valley Industry
and Commerce Association. She was chosen as the land-use expert
on a State Department delegation to Russia in 1992. She is the founding
director of a youth support group, The Ambassadors. She holds memberships
in Chambers of Commerce in Burbank, Glendale and is a member of
the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, member of the Moriah
Real Estate Committee and a member of women in the Real Estate Industry.
