David Lee comes to Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Services with more than 15 years as an active investor in commercial real estate including many successful land development projects and office building investments in Southern California. Through syndication, he participated or invested in acquiring, renovating, leasing and managing many Class A and B 30,000 to 170,000 sq. ft. office buildings. Personally, he directed numerous 5 to 60 acre parcel developments through the ever-changing complex governmental processes; utilizing 1031 IRS Tax Deferred exchange methods to maximize profits.
David has intimate knowledge of the Southern California commercial real estate market, and brings extensive business experience with the Pacific Rim market to Ramsey-Shilling. His experience with Fortune 100 and start up high tech companies in technical, managerial, marketing and contract negotiation disciplines serves as a foundation for his real estate relationships. His current focus is in the development opportunity markets in multi-family, mixed use, and working with property owners in the greater Los Angeles area to resource under-performing real estate assets with emphasis on development and Broker representation.
From 2000 to 2003, he was Chief Operating Officer of Applied Reasoning, which offers enterprise-class web application consulting, development, and integration services. From 1994 to 2000, he was with RF-Link Technology, Inc., a wireless technology corporation, where he served as Vice President and General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Marketing & Sales during his tenure. He was a program manager at TRW Transportation Electronics Division, and a systems analyst at TRW Space and Defense Division. He taught undergraduate electrical engineering courses at the University of Michigan and Purdue University for 3 years, and has numerous publications in Space Journals, IEEE Journals and conference proceedings.
He received B.S. degree from University of Texas at Austin, M.S. degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and Ph.D. from Purdue University, all in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Lee resides in Santa Clarita with his wife Esther and their son.
