Chief Executive Officer
Christopher Bonbright is Chief Executive Officer of Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. and a principal of the firm. His activities include a national and international commercial real estate brokerage and consulting practice, as well as overall management of the firm’s activities. Mr. Bonbright is widely regarded as a leading real estate professional with well over $1 Billion in successful transactions since 1985 across a variety of product types including high-rise office sales and leasing, retail, healthcare, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs and other special use properties. A sampling of Mr. Bonbright’s recent notable transactions include the sale and 20 year leaseback of The iconic Capitol Records Building in Hollywood, the sale of the Beverly Hills landmark Rox-San Office Tower and the sale of the Omni Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Mr. Bonbright graduated with honors and distinction from Stanford University (www.Stanford.edu) in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. During his four years at Stanford he demonstrated his commitment to real estate by founding the Real Estate Association at Stanford, completing an honors thesis entitled, The Future of Income Property Development Finance, and by designing and teaching an accredited course on real estate for which he received the unusual honor of a short term appointment to the University faculty.
In 1982, Mr. Bonbright joined the national real estate investment firm, The Shidler Group. During his tenure with the firm he participated in the acquisition, financing and leasing of over one million square feet of commercial and industrial property in several major markets including Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Honolulu.
In 1985, Mr. Bonbright joined the brokerage firm of Grubb & Ellis where he developed a successful commercial practice. In 1990, Mr. Bonbright joined Ramsey-Shilling as Managing Director and Principal of the firm.
On November 9, 2006, Mr. Bonbright was presented with the Thomas M. Crail Lifetime Achievement Award by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his many years of outstanding civic contribution and community leadership.
Mr. Bonbright is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California. He resides in Beverly Hills with his wife and two daughters.
