Dan Wakumoto serves as the Senior Vice President for Ramsey-Shilling Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. in Toluca Lake, California.  His role includes management of the regional sales staff, oversight of the commercial operations and direction of the research department.  On the brokerage side, his primary area of focus is the sale and leasing of office buildings.

Wakumoto has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1992.  Previously, he has served as the regional sales manager for Sperry Van Ness and was also a Senior Investment Advisor there.  He focused on commercial investment sales and office building transactions in Los Angeles county.  As a co-founder of the Woodland Hills office, he has played many roles in the industry.

Wakumoto created the research department for TOLD Partners, as well as focusing on the sale and leasing of office properties.  He also gained experience at Cushman & Wakefield and Grubb & Ellis.

As a licensed real estate agent, Wakumoto is a member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and earned the prestigious CCIM designation.  He serves on the leadership board for the greater Los Angeles chapter of CCIM, as the Scholarship Chair.  Previously he served as the Programs Chair in 2008 and 2007. Additionally, he is on the board for Pepperdine’s San Gabriel Valley alumni chapter and volunteers as a mentor at the University of Southern California’s Connections! Program.

He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and completed the Enterpreneurship Program at the University of Southern California.
