Santa Clarita

Ramsey-Shilling has been negotiating transactions in the Santa Clarita Valley, designated as one of California’s “Ten Most Business Friendly Cities,” for more than twenty years.  The firm has gained high approval and recognition in the area, and recently opened up an office in Valencia in order to better serve the community.

Based on the 2000 Census, Santa Clarita is the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County and currently has a population of about 250,000.  Endowed with an Enterprise Zone that covers 97 % of all commercial, business, and industrial land within the city, it has attracted a broad array of companies.  Growth opportunities abound in Santa Clarita and, through careful planning; city leaders have created a haven for high-technology businesses, the entertainment industry, distribution centers, and compatible commercial/industrial groups. The City of Santa Clarita has an entire department dedicated to the development and redevelopment of the local business community. This entity serves as an information resource center, business recruitment tool, research center, and gauge of the local economic climate.

The City is home to eight existing master planned business sectors which together provide more than 18 million square feet of office space and upon build-out will comprise about 33 million square feet.
