West Hollywood

While Hollywood and West Hollywood are adjoining communities, each is driven by a separate culture. Yes, they both have extensive entertainment venues, but Hollywood’s residents tend to be more corporate oriented, while West Hollywood is driven by an exuberant artistic imperative.  After engaging in the civic life of both communities for numerous years, Ramsey-Shilling fully understands these communities and their differences.

Ramsey-Shilling has been active in the public agencies of West Hollywood for quite some time, and has dedicated hundreds of hours to benefit the city.  In fact, Christopher Bonbright, Ramsey-Shilling CEO, has spent 20 years serving in various capacities in the West Hollywood Chamber, which in 2007 bestowed the Lifetime Achievement Award on him for his creative contributions to the city. Moreover, many of the posts held by Bonbright and other Ramsey-Shilling firm members have helped shape the city’s planning policies, which have together resulted in the desirable image the community has built as a vital economic center.

The city breaks down into three basic districts:

• Sunset Strip, world- famed for its array of nightclubs, restaurants, and hotels.
• The Avenues of Art and Design, located along Melrose Avenue, and Robertson and Beverly Boulevards—inhabited by many of the nation’s foremost interior design studios, art galleries and centers, and decorative arts leaders.
• Santa Monica Boulevard, stretching from La Brea Avenue to Doheny Drive, where its’ diverse residents fill the eclectic restaurants and retail shops.

Over the years, Ramsey-Shilling has structured a variety of transactions in West Hollywood buildings ranging from the iconic Pacific Design Center to noted clubs and restaurants such as Area, The Abbey, and Murano.
